Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pathfinder AI (the "Service"), operated by Alexis Goncalves, an individual operating under the trade name A.G. Logik ("we," "us," or "A.G. Logik"). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The service
Pathfinder AI is a subscription service that uses automated agents and large language models to discover job openings from third-party sources, score them against your stated preferences, and deliver matches to you by email. The Service is provided on an as-is basis. Job matches are algorithmic recommendations, not endorsements. Accuracy, availability, and fit for any job are not guaranteed.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (email, job preferences, resume content) and for keeping your account credentials secure. One person, one account.
3. Subscription and billing
The Service is offered in three tiers (Starter, Pro, Power) at prices shown on the signup page. All tiers are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. A valid payment method is required to sign up. Each tier includes a 14-day free trial; the trial ends automatically and the first billing cycle begins on day 15 unless you cancel during the trial.
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal link inside your account. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time, except as set out in the refund policy below.
4. Refund policy
You may request a prorated refund within 7 days of your first paid billing cycle by emailing [email protected]. After 7 days of the first paid cycle, and for all subsequent billing cycles, charges are non-refundable. If you cancel during the free trial, no charge is made and no refund is owed.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its output; (b) use the Service to scrape, replicate, or compete with any third-party job source the Service accesses; (c) submit false, misleading, or third-party personal information; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, or circumvent the Service's billing or access controls; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Cost caps and usage limits
Each tier includes monthly usage limits on LLM processing and job-source queries, enforced in real time. If you reach your tier's cap before the month ends, the agent loop pauses until the next billing cycle. We may contact you to discuss upgrading to a higher tier. We reserve the right to adjust tier limits with 14 days' notice.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers: OpenAI (language models), TheirStack and other job-data providers (job discovery), Postmark (email delivery), Stripe (billing), Supabase (authentication). Your use of the Service includes your data being processed by these providers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including source code, agent prompts, and algorithmic design. Content you submit (your job preferences, resume content) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you. Resumes and cover letters generated for you by the Service are yours to use freely, subject to your responsibility not to misrepresent your qualifications.
9. Termination
You may terminate at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms, including but not limited to non-payment, abuse of the Service, or violation of acceptable use. Upon termination, your data is handled according to the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of results, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that you will receive any particular job offer or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost income, lost job opportunities, or lost data.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on file at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
