How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every tier (Starter, Pro, Power) starts with a 14-day free trial. We need a valid card on file to begin the trial; Stripe holds the card but does not charge it. On day 15, the first month is billed automatically. Cancel any time before day 15 from your dashboard and no charge is made. After the trial, billing is monthly in advance.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, click Billing in the sidebar, and click Cancel Subscription. You're handed off to Stripe's hosted portal which confirms the cancellation. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then. No partial-month refunds outside the first-cycle 7-day window described in the Terms.
What is a comp account?
A comp account is an account we've granted access to without a Stripe subscription. Friends, family, beta users, or partners are typical recipients. Comp accounts get a tier (usually Power) with no billing. There's no self-serve path to get a comp account; we hand them out individually.
Why am I not getting daily digests?
Three things to check, in order. First, the Settings page has an Email Notifications toggle - if it's off, no digests are sent. Turn it back on. Second, the Reporter page shows a digest cadence (daily or weekly) and a pause flag - if you've paused delivery, set the pause back to off. Third, if Postmark detected a hard bounce or spam complaint on your address, we automatically suppress further sends. Email support and we'll clear the suppression after confirming.
Where does my data go?
Your account, profile, and preferences live in a Supabase Postgres database in the US (AWS us-east-1). Generated resumes and cover letters live in Supabase Storage, scoped to your user via row-level security. Job postings come from third-party APIs (TheirStack, USAJobs); your profile data is never sent to those providers. The LLM provider for matching and document generation is OpenAI; only the minimum context needed for each call is sent. Email delivery is via Postmark. Payments are via Stripe. How do I delete my account?
For now, email us at [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We respond within 48 hours. Your subscription is canceled, your data is deleted, and a confirmation email lands in your inbox. A self-serve deletion button is on the roadmap.
